Warnings:
- antigenic swab result should NOT be confirmed by molecular swab
- in the presence of a person who reports a positive result from self administered test to his or her caregiver, a confirmatory swab should be performed
- Issues encountered with the Green Pass Certification can be reported on the ATS form
- the positive case that does NOT receive SMS: verify the correct sending of the testin the Ministry of Health website with the person who carried out the test, in case of need fill in the following form of request for taking charge
Please note:
- in case of Covid-19 positivity as result of swab test carried out after isolation period, you need to go by self-presentation at a hospital swab point, if you don't already have a booked appointment. (Locations and times on sites ASST Lariana, Valle Olona, Sette Laghi) or at the doctor (if adhering to the testing program) with ATS certification of isolation.

It should be noted that the person who dispenses the swab (pharmacy, doctor, private center, hospital, etc.) must enter the correct personal data (with tax code and phone number of the patient) in addition to the relative test result in the regional website of swabs. Otherwise, ATS will NOT be able to contact the patient (specifically to start and end the isolation).
Covid-19+ case dispositions
The Ministry of Health issued Circular Prot. No. 37615 dated Aug. 31, 2022, updating the procedures for handling cases and close contacts with people infected with SARS-CoV-2.
Persons who test positive on a molecular or antigenic diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2 are subjected to the measure of isolation, as follows:
- For cases that have always been asymptomatic or have been symptomatic at first but have been asymptomatic for at least 2 days, isolation may be terminated after 5 days, provided that a test, either antigenic or molecular, that proves negative is performed at the end of the isolation period
- In case of persistent positivity, isolation may be terminated at the end of the 14th day after the first positive swab, regardless of whether the test is performed
